Andres Eulate is a residential designer with over ten years of design and construction experience. A Bay Area native, Andres established EulateDesign in 2004 to focus his energy on innovative residential and commercial design.

The diversity of Andres’ work and life experience gives him a unique perspective in his field. Andres values a balanced approach to design that relies on both pragmatic and poetic solutions. From significant work in construction, he has gained practical problem-solving skills and an attention to detail that carry over to well-conceived designs. His technical background complements a passion for creating joyful and elegant spaces.

Over the course of his career, Andres has worked in all phases of development and contributed to a diverse array of projects. Before initiating his own design practice, Andres worked with Thomas Dolan Architects where he played an instrumental role in live-work loft conversions and mixed use projects, providing project management, design and construction administration services. He also worked for prominent affordable housing firm, KodamaDiseno, where he was involved in non-profit development projects.

A modern-day renaissance man, Andres’ artistic talents include glass blowing, watercolor painting, and furniture making. He speaks Spanish fluently and prides himself in his tamale-making abilities. Prior to beginning his design endeavors, Andres enjoyed a career as a professional cyclist, competing throughout the United States, as well as in Canada and Australia.

Andres received his Master of Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of Washington, Seattle, where he graduated with honors.
